About Us

The Bleeding Edge is a national nonprofit program with a mission dedicated to advancing the lives of adult males living with the extreme challenges of bleeding disorders.  We create better lives through educating and empowering men with bleeding disorders to overcome the limitations placed on us by our conditions and a progressively risk-averse society. 

The Bleeding Edge is grateful to be a national non-profit program incubated by Upequity.

Upequity leads its own lab projects and programs, provides operations to coalitions, and acts as an incubator and accelerator for other nonprofit organizations building their own rare disease platforms.

We test novel, evidence-based programs and projects that facilitate awareness and education and amplifies the voice of underrepresented patients and families. Our Lab allows for experimentation with ideas that may (or may not) work in a safe environment!
